pmd-alignment is an ontology-alignment module in the PMD ecosystem for improving interoperability between materials-science ontologies. Its documented scope is the alignment of major MSE ontology stacks (including PMDco, BFO, EMMO, and CCO) so mappings can support cross-ontology data interpretation and partial conversion workflows.
